Daddy's Day

On the move

We've got a crawler in the house!!

Swimming

What a way to beat the heat this summer....Swimming!!

Cars

After a busy weekend visiting family, we started our 10 hour trip back home.

About an hour and a half into the trip, we came across a drive-in theater that was advertising the upcoming movie, Cars 2.

It was the cutest thing!

 Toe Mater

(Don't worry, Dad was back there holding her up on the car!)

    Doc

The tractor that was "tractor-tipped" in the field!

                    And the little fork-lift, Guido!
(They didn't have the little Fiat, Luigi)

(and again, we didn't let her sit up on the tire by herself.  Dad is holding her up!)

And then there was the firetruck, Red.  He is red in the movie (hints the name Red!)

but he is still super cute yellow!

Mack the truck!

We had such a fun time looking at all of the different characters!

I cannot wait for her to get old enough to see the movie and realize how cool these pictures actually are!!

 Now back on the road!

Getting ready for bed

Shoes!

Emma loves shoes!!

She has started trying to put shoes on herself (and me!)

Emma's "New Trick"

Aunt Coco is always asking me what "new tricks" Emma has learned.

"Courtney, my daughter is not a dog."

But it still gives us a good laugh.

She is still not crawling.

She prefers more of a twist and scoot method of getting around!
